At Mountain Poppy Goat Milk Soaps, we believe in creating high-quality natural ingredients that make your skin happy. In today's world, there is increased use of over processed and synthetic ingredients that can put consumers health at risk. Being someone who has struggled with Eczema and sensitive skin my whole life, I have noticed that synthetic ingredients and overly processed soaps had increased my skins issues. I began making simple and natural soap with raw goats milk from my goats to be self sustaining and remove harmful ingredients from my daily routines. Right away, I noticed a difference in the appearance and texture of my skin. Within a few weeks of using my goat milk soap it  helped clear up my Eczema and improve other skin issues for my family and friends. I founded Mountain Poppy Soaps to help bring simple natural handmade products to everyone who values eliminating harmful ingredients from daily routines, and living a more sustainable lifestyle.

The fresh raw goats milk that is used in our soap is from our own Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. Nigerian Dwarf goats have the higher percentage of butterfat content in their milk compared to other breeds, which leads to a rich creamy milk. The saturated and unsaturated fats in goats milk is nourishing and moisturizing to the skin. Additionally, the fatty acids can hydrate and soften skin, while the lactic acids in the milk gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells without removing the skin's natural oils.
